This homework calendar was created by The SLP's Fairy Godmother. I have worked for 27 years in the public schools, and I know that SLPs have many students and not enough time. My goal is to provide elementary school SLPs with simple, generic materials that will save you time. I have designed this calendar so that you can use it in any year in April with no additional work on your part required. You can use one calendar for almost all of your students, no matter what skills they are working on.
As students answer the questions, articulation students can practice their use of their sounds in words, phrases, sentences, and conversation. Students can also use fluency and voice skills using this calendar. Your language students can practice describing, categorizing, comparing, contrasting, sequencing, pragmatic skills, and specific syntax and morphology structures. Be specific about what level and skill you would like parents to target while they practice with your students.
