These printables are a combination of Aquarium Math/Playdough Mats and Math Grid Games.
Both the mats and the grid games can be used with manipulatives or playdough to provide children with practice counting and identifying numerals as well as creating and comparing sets in a variety of settings.
Materials Included in this Set:
- Three different fish tank math/playdough mats in two different sizes (8.5” x 11” and 11” x 17”) -One 11 x 17” math mat that has all nine elephants together on the page.
- Two aquarium grid games
- Instruction page for grid games
- Two 11” x 17” math mats, each with 10 different fish tanks. Each fish tank has a different numeral on it from one to ten.
-Instruction page for math mats
- A page of fish cards to use as manipulatives for the mats and grid games.
Instructions: Copy these files onto heavy cardstock (I think glossy cardstock looks the best.) Laminate and put out with manipulatives (erasers, plastic counters, or even real peanuts if you have no peanut allergies in your classroom.) You can also put the mats out with playdough and let the students add their own playdough pieces.
