The following is an Illustrated Timeline activity in which students are instructed to design an illustrated timeline regarding the events, people, causes, effects, and details of the Arab-Israeli Conflict since 1948.
This activity includes detailed instructions for both the student and teacher as well as student objectives and tasks.
For this activity students are given outline notes from the teacher regarding the History of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Next students are provided a list of dates (take from their notes) in which students must locate the date and then fill-in on their task sheet next to the date the name of the event and a 2-3 sentence summary of the event. Once the students dates are completed as directed they are to design and develop a timeline which include the dates properly set-up on the timeline, each title of the event, the description, and one illustration to go along with each date and event.
