This bundle has the following resources to help your students learn more about Arbor Day, Earth Day and Trees:)
Arbor Day Minibook, Trees Minibook and Earth Day Minibook: Each nonfiction mini book has a quick quiz on the back as well as a fun word search for early finishers. These books are great for small groups, whole group, or independent reading.
Arbor Day Draw and Write: Students will draw a picture of a tree and then write facts about trees that they learned from the minibook or another book, or facts about Arbor Day. You can also have students draw a picture of their state tree for a SS connection.
Arbor Day/ Earth Day Newspaper Activity: Students will draw and write a newspaper article about Arbor Day/ Earth Day.
Arbor Day Word Scramble: Students cut out the letters in Arbor Day and use them to make new words.
Tree Life Cycle Craftivity: Students will make a 3D craft to demonstrate the life cycle of a tree.
Garbage Truck Draw and Write: Students follow the steps to draw a garbage truck, then write the steps on what happens to the garbage when it leaves their house.
Earth Day Word Scramble: Students cut out the letters in Earth Day and use them to make new words.
Earth Day Draw and Write: Students will use the information from the Earth Day Minibook (or another Earth Day book) to draw and write about Earth Day.
Earth Day Agamograph: Students will color two Earth Day pictures. Cut out the strips, then rearrange them in numerical order to make an agamograph.
Earth Craftivity: Students will color, cut and assemble a craft of the Earth with the recycling arrows. They will also write about Earth Day to complement the craft.
