Looking for a fun cut and paste worksheet to give your students practice calculating the arc length and area of sectors in circles? This matching activity includes 12 questions designed to help your students build fluency when solving arc length and sector area word problems. Students will be working with both radians and degrees
in this activity, and, therefore, it is best suited for a high school pre-calculus or trigonometry class.
Start the activity by having students solve each question on their student activity sheet. Once they have determined the answers to all the questions, learners will cut out the correct answer cards and paste them in the appropriate places on their paper (scissors and glue required)
**Note: Students must use the pi button on their calculator, when necessary, to obtain their answers. Additionally, the activity instructions require that students round to the nearest tenth.
This no-prep resource includes directions, a two-page student worksheet, a set of answer cards, and a completely worked out answer key. Check out the preview to see EVERY SINGLE QUESTION in this activity!
