Arc Length and Sector Area Lesson
In this lesson, students will use the formulas for arc length and sector area to solve problems with diagrams and word problems.
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up asks students to solve a real life problem using the perimeter of a rectangle and the circumference of a circle.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 3 pages long. Examples are included throughout. If you did not want to include area of segments, it could easily be left out by not including the last page.
• Mixed Review Worksheet -
A one-page extra practice worksheet is included. There are 6 problems.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages and 12 questions.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
