Arc and Angle Measures in Circles Bingo
This is a PowerPoint game is a super fun way for students to practice solving for arc and angle measures in circles created by intersecting chords, secants, and tangents. This includes the following situations:
-Chords and/or secants intersecting inside the circle.
-Tangents and secants/chords intersecting on the circle.
-Secants and/or tangents intersecting outside the circle.
-Tangents intersecting outside the circle.
Approximately half the problems require students to solve a multi-step equation, then substitute their answer back in to find the angle or arc measure. This activity was created for a high school geometry class.
The game can be played on an interactive whiteboard such as a Smart Board, or simply projected on to a screen. Students choose a problem from the board (the colored circles represent the problems), they write it out and solve it on their worksheet, then look for the answer on their board. I included the game, the worksheet, and 30 individualized boards with the answers.
