Product Description
Complet unit for grades 6 to 12 in French Immersion or Francophone curriculum. Students learn about ancient roman architecture and compare it to contemporary buildings.

This project may be combined in social studies and art. In this project, students will learn how to draw buildings. A great idea is to cover the principles of perspective and / or lines in art class to aid them in their illustrations. In socials, students will explain how ancient civilizations enriched and influence today's societies.

The final task for this unit is to create a poster that describes the student's chosen building. He / she will compare and contrast the building to a contemporary one. Please note that the last page (project poster) should be enlarged on the largest paper of your photocopier. Students may handwrite their information on the plan provided or you may wish to ask them to type out their information and then glue it on poster board.
