Arcs in Circles
In this lesson, students will learn the vocabulary and theorems associated with central angles and arcs and circles.
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up is a review of the previous lesson, Tangents in Circles
. It is one question.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 2 pages long. Examples are included throughout.
• In-Class Practice Worksheet -
A one-page additional practice worksheet is included. It is four questions. The problems require students to write algebraic equations and solve for x in order to answer the question.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages and 9 questions, but many of the questions have multiple parts.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
