This is a fun and simple way for students to practice typing and/or handwriting,
Assuming you have at least one computer, this resource can be used in any classroom, as follows:
Scenario One: You use Google Classroom and have class computers
In this scenario, click the provided link to make a copy for yourself. From Google Classroom, click "Create Assignment". Attach the file and select "Make a Copy for Each Student" from the dropdown box.
Students can now type directly in their own copy of the document.
Scenario Two: You don’t use Google Classroom but you do have a Google account and at least one class computer
In this scenario, click the provided link to make a copy for yourself. It will automatically save to your Google Drive. (You can set up a separate Google account, just for class purposes, if you like).
Students can practice typing in the document at the computer station(s). If several students are using the same file, delete their answers in between each student (but leave the text boxes).
Scenario Three: You don’t use Google Classroom and don’t have/want a Google account but you have at least one class computer
In this scenario, students will navigate through the pictures and words on the computer but they will practice handwriting the words on paper instead of typing. Use the PDF version included in the product. This version skips the typing pages. Each page shows the name of the animal and a picture of it.
