In this real world project, students have a car they are going to choose and install some cool upgrades in the process.
Students will determine if they are staying within a predetermined budget based upon each section of the planning.
This project was written with students in mind. In other words, the "lingo" used within this project is what secondary students can relate to on a daily basis. Some of the problems are written in a way to engage the students from a "cool" perspective.
Concepts include: sales tax, percent of a number, proportions, evaluating equations, budgeting
