Product Description

This resource is a story about a class of students given three lines in the standard format. They first must turn it into the y=mx+b format (slope-intercept), then determine if the slopes are equal (parallel), opposite reciprocals (perpendicular) or neither. Students are given choices as to which student is correct. This is meant to be a collaborative assignment for a small group. Discussion is encouraged to build understanding.
