I would have students play this game in a group of 4.
Flip a card showing the Length and Width.
Solve using grid paper to find Area and Perimeter (or either one if you are focusing on one concept)
The first student to solve must then prove their answer using the grid paper. (if you would like this game to be less competitive have students take turn solving cards and the others in the group are also solving to make sure the person that drew the card gets the correct answer)
After solving and PROVING student can SPIN and then tally points on tally sheet. –Use a pencil and paper clip to create a spinner.
Continue to play the game until time is up- at that point add points to see who won.
