Make your students experts at finding the area of shapes. It’s so necessary for them to be able to identify shapes, use formulas, and use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the lengths of missing sides in right triangles. These task cards can be printed, laminated, and cut to use over and over again. Pair the students or use them in centers where you split the cards and have the students move from station to station to fill out their recording sheet. It’s a great review for the end of course exam, Geometry final exam, and/or college entrance exams such as the SAT and ACT.
