divided into three (3) sets. The problems in this pack should provide excellent practice to students in different skill levels. This is great for individual practice, as a pair/group activity, or to use in math centers.
- 32 Task Cards which contain a variety of questions regarding area.
*Find the areas of basic shapes (squares, rectangles, and triangles).
*Determine the missing sides of squares, rectangles, and triangles when their areas are given.
*Solve word problems involving areas.
*Find or compare areas of figures in a dotted grid.
*Find the areas of semicircles and circles (Note: Students will round their answers to the nearest whole number only at the end of their calculations to match the answers in the answer key).
– 24 Task Cards where students will find the areas of rectangular composite figures.
- 20 Task Cards where students will find the areas of rectangular composite figures with triangles and semicircles. This set is perfect to help students develop their skills to the next level. Use these cards after going over the problems in sets A and B.
