You will need dice and Cheez-Its for the activities. These activities have proven to be effective with my students and they love both of them. I use these assessments with my students every year using an I do, We Do, You Do model. I have found these activities really give students the practice they need differentiating between area and perimeter. The formative assessments allows you to pinpoint what students need extra help with.
