-Examples of an activity using an Ipad or Iphone.
-Making Rectangles with Specific Areas and Perimeters – There are three sheets with specific areas listed and three with specific perimeters. The students use graph paper to make the rectangles with the given measurements.
-Rectangle Relay Game – A game to practice finding the area of rectangles. Simply copy the direction sheet and start the game.
-Making Pictures Using Inch and Centimeter Paper – build a house or a robot using specific measurements. 13 different sheets are included in this packet.
-Make your own picture – The students have an opportunity to make their own picture with centimeter or inch graph paper. Then they record the area and perimeter of the parts in their picture. The recording sheet is included along with some examples of the pictures my students produced.
-3 sets of 12 task cards and recording sheets. Two of the sets center around basic area and perimeter of rectangles. The third set has non-rectangular shapes.

-Area and Perimeter Sort – Cut and paste six non-rectangular shapes and place them in the correct box. Each box tells an area and a perimeter and one of the shapes will match that description.
-Sheet of 6 non-rectangular shapes - A great opportunity for your students to cut the shape into smaller rectangles to figure out the area and perimeter.
