Tired of the same old task cards? Are you trying a new blended classroom? Need help integrating technology into math? May be your school is moving to one-to-one devices... Here is a chance to integrate technology and still provide a rigorous problem solving activity!

This download comes with directions on how to take my interactive lesson (which is shared via a link in the directions) and share it with your students. This lesson can be shared on Google Classroom or you can share it as a link on classroom websites such as Edmodo.

The interactive lesson is on Google Slides. Students can improve computer skills while being fully engaged in the math lesson. No copies or paper needed!

The lesson contains 11 slides and many problem solving experiences.

Slide 1- Title, students put their names

Slide 2 - Area and Perimeter Sort- Sort out statements that are Area or Perimeter

Slide 3-4- Use a ruler to measure and find area and perimeter

Slide 5-6- Find the missing sides of composite figure then find perimeter.

Slide 7-9 Problem Solving- Students will have guided problem solving with word problems. Students create a model and solve it. These are open ended.

Slide 10-11- Test Prep- multiple choice questions and explain your thinking.

Slide 12- Ending and how to share with your teacher

I also include another link for an answer key. This would be perfect as a partner activity, independent activity, enrichment, or review before STAAR!
