Area and Perimeter Bundle
This area and perimeter set allow students to engage with the book. I have included a printable sheet of table and chair cards for the student to manipulate as they follow along with the book (perfect for kinesthetic learners).
There are 10 area and perimeter slides which may be displayed on an interactive whiteboard or projector while reading the book. These pages show the table layouts describe in the book (perfect for visual learners).
After reading the book, you may go back and discuss each layouts and introduce area and perimeter. Each slide has an area and perimeter question. The area on same on all ten slide is constant, This is helpful for students just learning the concept of area and perimeter. Students may conclude that shape matters with perimeter while it doesn’t matter with area. I have included answer key as well.
