Math Mega Bundle (For Upper Elementary/Middle School Math) PART 2

AREA INVASION

Area Invasion is a board game that helps students practice finding the area of rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, trapezoids, and circles. Students must find the area of different shapes to help them move around the game board. Landing on a "Circle Slide" spot gives students a chance to move even more quickly through the board by finding the area of a circle!

Problem difficulty for Area Invasion varies The difficulty of the problem is correlated to how many spaces they get to move if it is answered correctly. An example of the easiest type of problem is a rectangle with side lengths of 19 inches and 3 inches. One of the more difficult problems is a trapezoid with base lengths of 12.4 meters and 14.5 meters and a height of 8.8 meters. A few mixed numbers and fractions are also included. This game only includes finding the area of rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, trapezoids, and circles.

The game can be played with 2-5 players. The following items ARE included in this resource:

-Rules and Teacher Instructions

-Area Invasion Game Board

-22 Rectangle Area Cards

-22 Parallelogram Area Cards

-22 Triangle Area Cards

-22 Trapezoid Area Cards

-21 Circle Slide Cards

VOLUME VICTORY

Volume Victory is a board game that helps students practice finding the volume of rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, pyramids, cylinders, and cones. Students must find the volume of different figures to help them move around the game board. Landing on a "Cylinder Slide" spot gives students a chance to move even more quickly through the board by finding the volume of a cylinder! If you have used my Area Invasion game, this game board and game play is similar but focuses on finding volume instead of area.

Problem difficulty for Volume Victory varies. The difficulty of the problem is correlated to how many spaces they get to move if it is answered correctly. An example of the easiest type of problem is a rectangular prism with a dimensions of 3 inches, 10 inches, and 2 inches. One of the more difficult problems is a pyramid with a triangular base (base of 33 cm and height of 15 cm) and a pyramid height of 30 cm. A few mixed numbers and fractions are also included in some of the more difficult problems. This game only includes finding the volume of rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, pyramids, cylinders, and cones.

The game can be played with 2-5 players. The following items ARE included in this resource:
