This was a project to relate area of circles to real life. Students were given two options for a pizza deal and were to decide which deal was the best. This is supposed to be misleading to students, but if they go through and find the area.. they will see which deal is actually better?
I also had my students create their own misleading advertisement where they had to make their own misleading deal, and show me the work to prove which deal was the best. (examples are on the slides.)
