Product Description
Project Based Learning - students will look at famous buildings around the world and decompose their structures into composite shapes so that they can calculate the area of the building. They must pick one building on each tiered worksheet and then calculate the area of it. There are 4 tiered worksheets included with 2 different buildings on each, so students have choice in which they choose. Once they have found the area of the three buildings, they will have to select the building with the largest area and determine the cost of cleaning the front of the building. As an extension activity, students will be asked to create their own skyscraper within given parameters to add to our classroom skyline.
