Are you looking for a way to go digital? This area of combined rectangles worksheet alternative includes 20 engaging digital activity cards that work perfectly with Google Drive and Google Classroom. For each card students will need to use the line tool in Google Slides to draw a line that divides the figure into two rectangles, find the area of each of the rectangles, and then add to find the total area of the figure. Not in a Google school? That’s okay! I have included directions for moving this file to the top education apps. This resource is an interactive digital file with textboxes for students to type their answers.
