### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Cards 1-4 and 11-16 require the use of special right triangles. Cards 5-10 only require students to substitute values into the formula. Cards 17-20 require students to use trig to find missing values.

The problems are of various difficulty. Make sure these problems are appropriate for your students - download the preview and look at the thumbnails to see problem examples.

Task cards are a great way to help students review or to use as warm-ups throughout the unit. QR codes are a great way to integrate technology in your classroom and keep students interested.

There are multiple ways I use task cards in my classroom.
1. Marker Board Review – Put task cards under a projector and have students work the problem on their marker board.
2. Scoot Game - I put desks in a circle and have each student work on a card. Then after a certain amount of time, I say "rotate" or ring a bell. Then the students move to the next desk. When they have made it all around the circle we check answers as a class.
3. Stations Review - Hang cards around the classroom. Students can work with partners or small groups to move around the classroom answering questions.
4. Speed Mathing – Arrange desks in two rows (like speed dating). Each student receives a card, works the problems on the card, checks their answer. Then, the students trade cards with their partner sitting across from them and work the problem on the new card. They are now sitting across the “expert” for that problem. After a few minutes, the students receive their original cards again and one row moves one seat down. This process continues until all of the cards are completed.
