Students will work in pairs. Partner A will have six problems to solve and so will Partner B. They will have different problems but each answer will be the same. For example, the answer to #1 for Partner A will be the same answer for Partner B on their problem #1.
I usually have them work alone for ten-fifteen minutes and then compare their answers. If their answers are different they must look at both problems and discuss who was correct and why or why not they got wrong answer.
Or I have the class all solve Problem #1 on their white boards and hold up answers so rest of class can see their work. If there is some misconceptions then we review and then do Problem #2 and they hold up answers. Once they seem to understand concept better then I let them work in pairs.
I also included the Warm-Up & Exit Ticket with Activity.
