The attached PowerPoint is an informational lesson on how to write an argumentative essay. There are student notes that go along with this as well, which are also up for sale. As students follow the presentation, they will fill in the blanks (the underlined words) of the slides.

When I teach writing I go one paragraph type (introduction, body, counterclaim, conclusion) at a time...therefore this presentation and notes are broken up over mini lessons over time.
*The examples used in the PowerPoint are for the story "Seventh Grade" by Gary Soto... you can edit the document and put in your own examples if necessary.
