PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This worksheet makes a great in-class assignment to spark discussion about Aristotle's definition of a tragedy, or it can be used as a homework assignment for pre-reading. It offers a simplified version of Aristotle's definition on one side, and asks students to answer several questions about a modern-day movie tragedy (such as identifying the tragic elements of their chosen film, and deciding whether or not the main character fits the tragic character description). This also comes with a teacher key with an example to be used to spark discussion.
