This product is a BINGO game to practice solving Arithmetic Sequences. A blank BINGO card is provided, on which students will write a Free space and 24 integers in random order. Twenty examples are included, which the teacher can write or project under the document camera.
The examples assess a variety of skills, including common difference, or specific terms in the sequence. The teacher can cut out the examples and put them under the document camera in a strategic or random order.
A template is also included, which can be used inside plastic sheet protectors. This will facilitate students' understanding of the concept and will help students do more than just apply a memorized formula for the "nth term". Students can write on the sheet protector with a dry erase marker. The template will assist the teacher in assessing students' understanding of the concepts. Students can work with a partner to promote discourse. The first student to get five in a row wins the BINGO game.
The zip file contains both a pdf version and powerpoint version of the product.
