Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences Coloring Activity
Students will practice identifying whether a sequence is arithmetic, geometric, or neither, as well as identify the common difference and/or common ratio. An optional idea that you can do is to ask your students to determine the nth term for each arithmetic or geometric sequence, but that is not required in order to color the picture. The worksheet includes 20 problems with an answer bank as well as an answer key. Students can either solve all 20 problems or work on the assignment in pairs and solve 10 problems each. This sunfish theme of this color by number picture is great for use at the end of the school year, for summer school or summer math practice, or any time!
