Product Description

World War I was full of innovations that caused devastation to the world. With soldiers finding it hard to re-enter civilian life, massive casualties along the front lines, it was no wonder that the initial call for Armistice on Nov. 11th, 1918 was met with hesitation. This resource is a first-hand account from a Colonel during the call for Armistice when he was stationed on the French lines. This unique perspective allows students to see that although citizens at home celebrated, many of our veterans were not sharing the same sentiment.
