Pretend you are taking a field trip around town. Your teacher wants you to go from place to place describing where you are. Start Exploring your town.
-Review the “How to Describe” Visual aid with your students
-Hang each place hung up around the room and have students go from place to place describing them!
-Each student will fill out the “describing” graphic organizer about each place or assigned place.
-The students will then read their descriptions (clues) out loud and the group members or therapist will guess which place they visited.
There is also a Venn diagram visual and practice sheet provided for students to use after activity.
Game board also included for students to take turns using visual aid to describe the places.
Visual aid with all animals is included if child needs visual cues for the inferencing activity
