Whew! This second pack has been a LONG time coming, but I am finally done! This pack works perfectly with my first Around the World Travel Theme Classroom pack found here:
Around the World Travel Theme Classroom PART 1
Be sure to check out the free 25 page preview!
This pack includes a ton of additional items to help make your travel themed classroom an absolute success! Below is a list of all you can find included:
Departures (pages 3-19)
Help manage how and when your students are leaving school, for both yourself and other teachers! Included are license plates for all 50 states-- simply print your students' names on the ones you want and use them with the signs (bus riders, car riders, walkers, bikers, absent, leaving early) to help manage the end of the day!
Boarding Pass: P. 20-23
These exit slips can be used as closure and formative assessment for nearly any subject! Simply instruct students that before they leave for their next class/activity/for the day, that they must turn these in as their exit slips. In addition to the basic exit slip pages, which come in two sizes, I have also included a decorative sign.
Baggage Claim: Lunch Count: P. 24-32
Help keep track of everyone’s lunches in your classroom. Simply have the students move their number (or name, blank pieces included) at the beginning of each day to show whether they brought their lunch or will have hot lunch. Also included are two blank signs, in case your school has other options as well!
Lost Luggage: No Name Work P. 33-34
Designate a spot in your classroom with this sign for all that no name work. Allow students to be responsible for finding their missing assignment and putting their name on it. Attach hanging paper clips from the sign and let it be another wall display, or attach it to a binder, paper tray, or whatever else you can think of!
Post Cards: P. 35-41
Templates to practice a variety of writing activities using postcards! Simply use one side as an area to write and the other to have students design an image. The possibilities are endless with this writing set!
Stop: Behavior Management: P.42-43
Use these behavior management slips to help redirect students without detracting from your lesson or draw unwanted attention to the student. Laminate to use over and over!
Antarctica: Behavior Management: P. 44-49
A time out system with a travel twist! Designate a spot in your classroom for Antarctica. This set comes with a decorative sign to designate the space, as well as instructions for the student who is sent to "cool down". Set also comes with reflection papers so students can actively think about why they are there and what they need to do differently next time!
Travel Documents: P. 50-65
This section features a number of useful classroom documents including: Homework agendas, behavior charts, traveler's checks for classroom economy system in part 1, parent/guardian contact tracking forms, and happy birthday certificates!
Snapshot Reminders: P. 66-82
Send these 12 quick reminders home with kids to help make sure they are prepared the next day! Reminders include: tests, projects, missing work, report cards, library books, picture day, class party, field trip, early dismissal, no school, parent teacher conference, and supplies needed.
Worldwide Compliments: P. 83-85
Praise your entire class for demonstrating good behavior around the school! When the class receives a compliment from another adult, outside of their own classroom, simply use this system to keep track. When the class reaches a certain number of compliments, the entire class is rewarded with something of your choice!
Traveler Tools: P. 86-104
Use these displays to inform your students of what tools they will need to complete their work. Tool signs include: scissors, crayons, colored pencils, markers, pencils, pencil sharpener, stapler, paper, ruler, glue stick, glue, tape, eraser, calculator, highlighter, book, and computer.
Travel Duo: Pairing Cards: P 105-110
Use these cards to create travel duos in your classroom-- 30 cards for 15 ready made pairs! Great for quick pair ups and cooperative learning activities. Have students pair up with those who have an identical card. Best if printed in color and laminated!
Hope you enjoy this second set! Keep an eye out for the third and final set to come soon!
