Connecting arrays, repeated addition, multiplication (notation and words) and number lines to reinforce the meaning of multiplication and its relationship to addition.
One part of the problem is completed (array, multiplication, word, addition, or number line) and then students complete the rest of the table to relate the other pieces. Pages 1-5 are for products less than or equal to 100. Pages 6-10 for products less than or equal to 200. Pages 11-15 are for products less than or equal to 400. Larger products allow for differentiation of factors (1-digit or 2-digits).
