This is a powerpoint presentation that will introduce arrays and repeated addition to students. I created this when I noticed that my students needed more direct instruction on arrays, like recognizing repeated addition equations to go along with arrays and creating arrays when given a number.
This powerpoint will guide students and help them understand why we use and learn about arrays, how to correctly create repeated addition equations to match arrays, and how to create an array when given a number.
You can use this as a powerpoint or print out the pages and use them during whole group or small group instruction.
*Note - This is a read only copy of the powerpoint in order to protect the clipart used. When you download, you will need to click read only to open.
