They’re here! Lesson plans based on Creative Curriculum!
*Based on children's interests
*Fully editable in Word
This particular lesson features art appreciation. It's amazing how engaged and inspired the children can become with seemingly advanced concepts. My class loved copying art and creating their own. The splatterbox was a huge hit. The preview file is from the "Aloha" plan and is representative of all lessons.
All of my lessons based on Creative Curriculum include:
*Theme-based items added into centers
*Small group activities
*Large group activities, including circle time
*Boredom Busters for those rainy or disengaged days
*Space for individualization and Foundations/standards
*Some of my and the kids’ favorite books
Note: Occasionally you’ll see “Book Buddies” or “Dina School.” The Book Buddies were older students paired with ours to practice reading and Dina is based on the Incredible Years Dina program, which teaches intensive social skills. I highly recommend both if you can use it. If not, substitute your own brilliant idea!
*NC Foundations changes often; if the numbers aren't right, the skills are still applicable.*
