I teach k-5 ELL students in Phoenix. My worksheets are designed for my students to learn Art and English literacy and to experience success in their own art work. With 900 art students, worksheets are the best way I can combine art learning with a small budget. Open Ended, is usually a student directed process, where they can draw their feelings, emotions, reactions to the art work in the blanks provided. They can choose to copy the designs, outlines the shapes/forms, or even just draw one aspect. Open ended is not assessed and there is no right or wrong. Just encourage active participation in some form.
Note: Please put the worksheets on your Smart Board or Overhead so students may see the COLORS! This is important if you are printing their worksheets in black and white.
If you have any questions, please contact me. And, If you are unfamiliar with Open-Ended art activities, please download my free "Open-Ended Art is..." Remember, if you leave feedback for me, you can earn points towards free TPT lessons. And, I can know if your students liked it.
