The Art Focuses utilize various art styles, such as Abstract and Pop-Art as well as developing art techniques such as shading and color.
The element of choice is always popular with students and the minimal fuss and easily assessable art materials is popular for all – including the teacher.

(6 Working Pages = Tasks and Assessment Sheets)
The cards can be used in a variety of ways. I have personally: printed the tasks, laminated and mounted them on a board for students to access.
The cards are individually numbered, I use the assessment sheet provided in this resource to keep track of which ones students have completed. There is also two student self assessments which are great glued at the back of their artwork once filled out. One is more detailed then the other.
The central circle of the cover on this product can be trimmed down and added to the display board as a title. I have a speech bubble coming from the silhouette on our class display saying “You Choose” but I left it off the cover.
When we work on a unit on Portraiture I set lessons but with most classes there are students that work quicker then others. These tasks complement the unit and are great activities for early finishers to move on to.
