This zip file has two folders.
The 1st one is my idea of unpacking the new Art Core Standards into a Lesson Plan Format. Each page has one anchor for grades k-5 and a table for Tools, Materials, and Techniques. There are extra spaces if you want to include your State Standards, notes, or a photo of your lesson. Because these new anchor standards (11) are extensive but open-ended, I created a lesson plan page for each one. There are actually 16 different elements. You can customize them by opening them up in Paint.
The 2nd file is for your actual presentation or lesson. It written so you can open in Paint to modify. Or put in your school’s required info as a second page to the new Core Art Standard Anchor you choose.
Because the NAEA Standards are copyrighted, I included that, and cited fair use because we, as art teachers, are using them in our lesson planning as often required by our districts.
The National Core Art Standards are a living document. They may be changing. It is my understanding that we can use one or several, the decision is our’s to choose.
I hope this helps you as much as it helps me.
