Monet took great care in showing various types of boats, especially sail boats. His fascination with the sails and how they reflect on the water can be seen in his various paintings.
I love using bold bright colors of tempera paint splashed on paper with big brushstrokes. These brushstrokes are used to make painted paper daily in my classroom in which my students then create into beautiful masterpieces.
