PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students are always intrigued by the Masters of Art such as the artist Claude Monet. This lesson is a great start when developing a Monet Thematic Unit or just creating a fun piece of architecture and landscape.

This project creates houses that allow children to experiment with tempera paints and painted paper. The lesson contains simple steps to follow and bright visuals for inspiration. Also, you will find a beautiful gallery containing examples of my students' artwork.

You will also find helpful hints and an easy to use National Core Art Standards checklist.

I have many fun projects and thematic units to add to my TPT store so keep on checking back to see new pdf lessons.

Hi, I’m Laura Lohmann and I have been teaching Art for 20 years in Ohio. I love teaching students fun and exciting projects and hope that you will find my projects enjoyable for your students. I enjoy seeing my students start with a blank canvas and explore using art materials to create beautiful masterpieces.
