Monet painted seven types of flowers for his still life works. Sunflowers were among his most popular subject matter.
This project recreates Monet's beautiful Bouquet of Sunflowers still life painting. Children will experiment with tempera paints and oil pastels. Includes a painted paper option as well as two lesson extensions to the main project.
These lessons are great for ages 8--11, but any age student can create awesome artwork with these directions.
