Lesson #1 Objective:
Given the attached Monet reading/writing packet, students will read a short excerpt on Monet’s life as an artist and answer the questions given with the packet. Upon finishing the reading/writing assignment, students will peer grade each others papers.
Lesson #2 Objective:
Using the Monet reading/writing packet, the Instructor will engage the class in a critiquing session regarding the works of Monet. The Instructor will use the attached critiquing questionnaire guide as a reference.
Lesson #3 Objective:
Given the oral instruction from the Instructor, students own art kits, pastel paper, pastels, and the attached grading rubric, students will recreate their own art using similar styles and techniques that Monet used in his paintings.
