The Cute Caterpillar is a great spring lesson for drawing and painting using watercolors, with step-by-step instructions.
Caterpillars come in many different colors and sizes just like us. They can be smooth and fuzzy, cute and small. Others are big and prickly. When they are little, they spend their days eating and growing. Then, one day, the caterpillar spins a cocoon around itself and stays there for several weeks. While it is in the cocoon, it transforms. When it
emerges as a new creature, it has shed its old body and has miraculously changed into a beautiful butterfly or moth.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; the old has gone, the new is here!
About Christian Art Lessons
We, Kim and Karen, are thrilled to share our lessons with you and your students. Christian Art Lessons was created to help people teach and learn art. The lessons provide step-by-step instructions with a focus on the greatest artist of all time, God. Our friendship began when we were both asked to teach art in our church's summer program.
We found we had similar backgrounds: taught art for over 20 years, had college degrees, and lived in California with our families and dogs. Additionally, we both have a passion creating, teaching, inspiring and challenging children to love learning.
