For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus Christ rising from the dead. Jesus is the Son of God who gave His own life to die for our sins. On the third day after He died-- the day we now celebrate as On the third day He will be raised to life!” Easter Sunday -- His friends, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, went to His grave. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven rolled away the stone in front of the tomb and sat on it. Then the angel said, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ Now I have told you.”
Matthew 28: 1-7
About Christian Art Lessons
We, Kim and Karen, are thrilled to share our lessons with you and your students. Christian Art Lessons was created to help people teach and learn art. The lessons provide step-by-step instructions with a focus on the greatest artist of all time, God. Our friendship began when we were both asked to teach art in our church's summer program.
We found we had similar backgrounds: taught art for over 20 years, had college degrees, and lived in California with our families and dogs. Additionally, we both have a passion creating, teaching, inspiring and challenging children to love learning.
