Your students will love to learn about the element of line with this fun, interactive lesson. Don’t you love when you find a great book to read with your art class? Isn’t it great when you can get more than one lesson or grade level from the same book?
This listing includes two lessons based on the the book “lines that wiggle.” One is a basic lesson that would be great for kindergarten through second and the other would be appropriate for grades 1-4. You could also do each lesson with the same grade to make it a unit on line.
Both lessons are professionally formatted and include anticipatory set, NEW national standards, supply list, interdisciplinary connections, objectives, procedures and closure.
You’ll also receive the line worksheet that I use with my students, and photos of the finished sample and a step by step.
The first lesson/project was classroom tested in an urban school setting with 25 kindergarten students in a 40 minute class period.
