Product Description
This is a presentation with art history PLUS a step-by-step how to make a sand painting. 40 SLIDES with loads of information and pictures!!

The first part is the Art History Background, with examples of art using sand and other powdery substances. It includes colorful and fascinating examples from several contemporary artists, art installations (what is an art installation? find out!) and sand paintings with spiritual meanings (Navajo sand paintings, Rangoli from India, and Buddhist mandalas).

The second part is a step-by-step how to make a beautiful painting using acrylic paints, sand and glue. I will show you how to create a sand painting without a lot of hassle.

I created the file as a Powerpoint and then saved it as a PDF for easy viewing. Just make sure you have the lastest Adobe Acrobat reader downloaded. Open it full screen for a great slideshow presentation.
