On the sixth day of creation, God created the lion and all other land animals. The lion is known for its majestic power, strength and courage making him a symbol of royal authority, a king. The roar of a lion can be heard from miles away.
Amos 3:8 says,
“The lion has roared; who will not fear?” The Bible refers to Jesus as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He is God and King who rules over the universe, protects His people and He is in control. The Bible speaks about the ultimate image of peace, a day when the lion would cease being a predator and lie down with the calf. Also in this verse, it says a little child will lead the lion
About Christian Art Lessons
We, Kim and Karen, are thrilled to share our lessons with you and your students. Christian Art Lessons was created to help people teach and learn art. The lessons provide step-by-step instructions with a focus on the greatest artist of all time, God. Our friendship began when we were both asked to teach art in our church's summer program.
We found we had similar backgrounds: taught art for over 20 years, had college degrees, and lived in California with our families and dogs. Additionally, we both have a passion creating, teaching, inspiring and challenging children to love learning.
