Art Museum Field Trip
Do you take a field trip to your local art museum? This packet came from my love of taking my students to the Art Museum every year. I made a big deal out of this day, and incorporated map skills into the day by contacting the museum ahead of time to request that the students see art work from the various continents.
This product includes colored and black and white versions of a booklet, in which students record a piece of art from each continent and write the artist's name, title of the piece, and a place to circle the art medium used to create the piece. Just simply print, assemble the booklets and staple them. You might consider having your students take a clipboard and pencil (if your museum allows this) so they can write during the field trip. In addition, there are writing prediction papers, drawing pages, and pages to record favorite pieces seen while on the trip. This can most certainly be used for any K-4th grade students. Simply pick and choose the pieces you would like to use for your grade level. I know this product will help make your day at the art museum extra memorable!
