These two signs are life savers in the art room! You could use them many ways in your own area to control the noise level in art.
The way I use them.... I printed them out and glued them to the front and back of a piece of construction paper. Then, when it is time for students to be in "Silent Studio" the sign gets flipped. I hang the sign with string from a hook that I put on one of my storage cabinets. We go into silent art either when the class has lost all 3 letters spelling A-R-T, or if our lesson requires extra concentration and time!
