This is a Powerpoint that I use with my art class when I do an introduction to working with acrylics.
It's an interactive "workshop" based Powerpoint - which means I have them set-up their tables, get their sketchbooks, and follow along with notes as they practice and experiment with the techniques.
(I find this is way more successful than a handout or lecture!)
-general tips for working with acrylics
-the typical set-up when working with acrylics
-various techniques with descriptions / exemplars for each
-a few important tips
I hope this helps! It really opens up their eyes to the ENDLESS amounts of ways that acrylic paint can be used.
I find it helps with their final projects immensely.
